Are you looking to join your local Juniors Football Club, then why not come along to one of our training sessions.

We will be entering teams at the following age groups:-

Under 14's. (Must be under the age of 13)

Under 15's. (Must be under the age of 14)

Under 16's Girls. (must be under age of 15).

All groups must be under the above ages at 31st August 2010.

NEWS: Charter Standard Club.

Desborough Town Juniors have acheived Charter Standard status on the 20th March 2009. Great news for the coaching staff, players and committee. Another step in the clubs progress. Well done to everyone.

The clubs annual charity football day will be on Sunday 12th July 2009 at the Desborough Leisure Centre. This years nominated charity is Marlow House Desborough.

NEWS: Desborough Town Football Club Fire. 16th December 2008.

We were sad to hear that Desborough Town Football Club based in Braybrooke Road, have lost their club house due to fire this week. The Juniors have sent the club a message of support, which was appreciated by their Chairman Kevin and committee.

The fire does not effect the Juniors home matches, as all games are played at Desborough Leisure Centre. see "Directions " on our web site for any visiting teams.

Desborough Juniors will have a stall at the Gala night so come along and support the club.

NEWS: Charity Shield  Football Match Sunday 20th July 2008.

This year the Juniors will be supporting the Acorn House "Sick Children's Trust" at their Charity Football match at the Desborough Leisure Centre. In memory of Jason Body.

NEWS: Weetabix Fair Play Awards.(Weetabix AGM)

The Juniors continue to maintain their 100% disciplinary record in the Weetabix leagues. Well done to all coaches and players. Keep another clean sheet in 2008/9 season.

NEWS: Desborough Carnival Saturday 28th June 2008.

This year the Juniors have entered two floats with the theme "European Championships 2008" ans "We are the Champions" following the Under 12's Division 3 Championship winning side.

NEWS: Daventry Tournament Sunday 15th June 2008.

The Juniors reached the quarter finals at Under 11's before loosing on a penalty shoot out. The Under 12's reached the semi finals before bowing out to stronger opposition.A great day out for all squads at the Daventry tournament.

NEWS: Saturday 7th June 2008: Club donation to Cransley Hospice. ( In memory of Kerry Lisa Hillier 1979-2006).

The Juniors have donated £125.00 from the clubs Charity Shield game. Each year the club holds an inter squad match and family fun day to raise funds for local good causes. Following the tragic loss of local mum Kerry the club decided to make the Cransley Hospice their first beneficiary for the support and care they gave the family. Well done to all the squads and family.

The clubs AGM will be held at St Giles Community Centre Desborough at 7pm.

The Under 12's squad clinch the Division 3 championship. Well done to all the coaches and players. Our first ever trophy.

The clubs end of season presentation night will be held at the Ritz Desborough for all squad players.

NEWS: Saturday 12th April 2008: Club Registration Day !!!!!!!

The New 2008/9 season will be with us again soon and its time to re-register or join our club. Our Squad registration morning is being held at St Giles Community Hall between 10 and 12 am. If you are an existing player, or someone new interested in the club, why not come along. You can meet the club officials, join the squads and ask any questions you may have.

NEWS: 9th November 2007:

WAM's(Wifes and Mum's) Christmas Party and Disco at the Ritz. Just under 180 family and friends attended our annual party which is now established in the clubs calender. All registered players received a club scarf on the evening. Another successfull night for the WAM's - Thank you Ladies.

NEWS: July 2007:

DTJFC's Charity Shield. The players organised a inter club match to raise money for charity. The 2007/8's nominated charity was Cransley Hospice. A family day with bar-b-que and picnic. Fantastic weather made the event. The clubs Charity Shield and a fun day will be organised to raise money for a nominated charity each season. This day is all about putting something back into the community for all the support we receive as a club. The only Winner on the day is the Charity.

NEWS: 14th/15th July 2007:

Weekly Rovers Tournament. DTJFC enter squads in at Under 9's and Under 11's for the first time. All teams preformed well but we failed to progress to the later stages of the competition. Good experience for all players at the club.

NEWS: 30th June 2007:

Desborough Carnival Parade and a chance for all the players to have a good day out and help raise funds for local charities. This is our second year in the parade and the club achieved a second place in its Class. All the children had a good time. See Photo Gallery for pictures.The carnival is another event firmly in the clubs calender.

Clubs AGM. Another season over and the club has strengthened its squads and is in good financial condition to go forward into the new season. The committee grows to reflect the challenges ahead.

NEWS: 14th April 2007:

End of Season Presentation Night and Disco at the Ritz. The conclusion of our second season with steady progress by all squads. There where presentations for the Managers Player of the Year. Players Player of the Year and Most Improved Player of the Year at all squad levels. There was a new Trophy presented by the Chairmans. See Players Awards section for the list of winners.

Around 150 people enjoyed a celebration of the squads achievements. The club goes from strength to strength. Well Done to all players.

NEWS: 16th December 2006

WAM's (Wife's and Mum's) Christmas Disco. The first Christmas Party was attended by over 880 people organised by the WAM's at Desborough Leisure Centre. Thank you to the WAM's for a great evening for the club. Well done DJ's John and Nick you made the night.

Training moves from Desborough Recreation Ground to Desborough Leisure Centre. The Juniors squads now train at the Desborough Leisure Centre for all age groups.

Desborough Juniors to play at Desborough Leisure Centre for the 2006/7 season. The Under 12's girls will hold their home matches on Saturday mornings and the Under 11's will play on Sunday mornings.

Forth coming fixtures will be entered into the Results section of the site as soon as available. Come along and support your local Juniors teams.

Desborough Juniors score 24 out of 24 in the Weetabix Fair Play Awards.

In our first season we had a 100% discipline record, a great start for a New Club

Desborough Juniors Under 12's Girls Team. New squad for 2006/7 season.

The Under 12's girls started off their football campaign in the Corby Cougars Football Tournament. Well done for entering and a good performance as it was the first time playing together.

NEWS: 21st April 2006:

The first ever club presentation night held at the St Giles Community Centre. Around 70 family and friends attended the event to recognise the first ever Juniors teams in the Weetabix Leagues. Look at the Players Awards section to see who were the lucky winners. History in the making and the start of a local community project.

NEWS: 28th February 2006:

DTJFC visit Northampton Town FC for the Under 19's International England v Slovakia. This was a chance for all the squads, Mums and Dads to experience International football. The ground was full and the atmosphere was fantastic. We had a shout out for the Juniors over the address system before the match. A great chance to see some of our best young England players. Theo Wallcott was one of the most outstanding players.
