NEWS: Saturday 12th April 2008: Club Registration Day !!!!!!!
The New 2008/9 season will be with us again soon and its time to re-register or join our club. Our Squad registration morning is being held at St Giles Community Hall between 10 and 12 am. If you are an existing player, or someone new interested in the club, why not come along. You can meet the club officials, join the squads and ask any questions you may have.
Don't forget you need a Passport or Birth certificate for ID puposes to register and two Passport size photographs. This is for the registration documents with the Weetabix League. Registration is £20.00 on the day to cover League, FA and Insurance costs. Kits are provided to all squad players once registered.
Its your chance to join this rapidly growing club in the town and to represent Desborough in League and Cup competitions.

If your interested in joining one of our squads come along to one of our training sessions at Desborough Recreation Ground every Saturday morning between 9.30am and 11.00 am.

MINI SOCCER:- NEW for 2008/9 seasons.
We are now looking for the stars of the future at Mini Soccer levels. Are you:-
Under 7's (Year 2) Mixed Boys and Girls.
Under 8's (Year 3) Mixed Boys and Girls.
Under 9's (Year 4) Mixed Boys and Girls.
If we can get enough players registered we will form a team in the Mini Soccer Leagues. We will be offering training to these age groups with the aim of building squads for the future. Tell your school friends and come along to a training session. Mini Soccer training is on Sunday Mornings at the Desborough Leisure Centre 10 -11am.

NEWS: 9th November 2007:
WAM's(Wifes and Mum's) Christmas Party and Disco at the Ritz. Just under 180 family and friends attended our annual party which is now established in the clubs calender. All registered players received a club scarf on the evening. Another successfull night for the WAM's - Thank you Ladies.

NEWS: July 2007:
DTJFC's Charity Shield. The players organised a inter club match to raise money for charity. The 2007/8's nominated charity was Cransley Hospice. A family day with bar-b-que and picnic. Fantastic weather made the event. The clubs Charity Shield and a fun day will be organised to raise money for a nominated charity each season. This day is all about putting something back into the community for all the support we receive as a club. The only Winner on the day is the Charity.

NEWS: 14th/15th July 2007:
Weekly Rovers Tournament. DTJFC enter squads in at Under9's and Under 11's for the first time. All teams preformed well but we failed to progress to the later stages of the competition. Good experience for all players at the club.

NEWS: 30th June 2007:
Desborough Carnival Parade and a chance for all the players to have a good day out and help raise funds for local charities. This is our second year in the parade and the club achieved a second place in its Class. All the children had a good time. See Photo Gallery for pictures.The carnival is another event firmly in the clubs calender.

Clubs AGM. Another season over and the club has strengthened its squads and is in good financial condition to go forward into the new season. The committee grows to reflect the challenges ahead.

NEWS: 14th April 2007:
End of Season Presentation Night and Disco at the Ritz. The conclusion of our second season with steady progress by all squads. There where presentations for the Managers Player of the Year. Players Player of the Year and Most Improved Player of the Year at all sqaud levels. There was a new Trophy presented by the Chairmans. See Players Awards section for the list of winners.
Around 150 people enjoyed a celebration of the squads achievements. The club goes from strength to strength. Well Done to all players.

NEWS: 16th December 2006
WAM's (Wife's and Mum's) Christmas Disco. The first Christmas Party was attended by over 880 people organised by the WAM's at Desborough Leisure Centre. Thank you to the WAM's for a great evening for the club. Well done DJ's John and Nick you made the night.

Desborough Gala Night. Come along and support the Juniors stall and buy some raffle tickets. The gala night is held a long the High Street in Desborough from 6pm till 8pm. See you there.

NEWS: 7th August 2006:
Desborough Juniors to play at Desborough Leisure Centre for the 2006/7 season. The Under 12's girls will hold their home matches on Saturday mornings and the Under 11's will play on Sunday mornings.
Forth coming fixtures will be entered into the Results section of the site as soon as available. Come along and support your local Juniors teams.

Desborough Juniors score 24 out of 24 in the Weetabix Fair Play Awards.
In our first season we had a 100% discipline record, a great start for a New Club

Desborough Juniors Under 12's Girls Team. New squad for 2006/7 season.
The Under 12's girls started off their football campaign in the Corby Cougars Football Tournament. Well done for entering and a good performance as it was the first time playing together.

The first ever club presentation night held at the St Giles Community Centre. Around 70 family and friends attended the event to recognise the first ever Juniors teams in the Weetabix Leagues. NEWS: 28th February 2006:
DTJFC visit Northampton Town FC for the Under 19's International England v Slovakia. This was a chance for all the squad, Mums and Dads to experience International football. The ground was full and the atmosphere was fantastic. We had a shout out for the Juniors over the address system before the match. A great chance to see some of our best young England players. Theo Wallcott was one of the most outstanding players.
